Final 500 Emblems
Found a website to buy Oldsmobile Final 500 emblems! Really excited about this! I know my car is not a Final 500, but I just like the looks of them! Also Found the Dark Cherry paint code and there is a place in town here that will make a rattle can of that code. So here's my thought. Final 500 emblems and Cherry Mirrors and door molding. Just to add some color to my white car. Plus, it would match the emblems. Any thoughts? Here's the website for the emblems, if anyone else wants some.

Personally I'm not a fan on red on white. If that's you thing though those are good places to start with the adding color.

Was trying to be different. Everyone does black on a white car. I want something that is going to stand out. I'm not sure about the paint yet, but I am going to change the emblems

Final 500 badges on a non Final 500 = FAKE. Put your money towards a better mod like CAI.

Yeah....no....that's like owning a base model mustang and putting on Shelby GT500KR Snake badges on it to make it look like something it's not.. If you have a GL model Alero, you can get GL badges off an Intrigue. Final 500 owners paid the cost to have something special. Putting on F500 badges on your Alero would be lame..no offense.

It's a good looking emblem, you could use it and remove the words "final 500"

What do you mean, "real," like OEM replacement?
I wonder if they will sell the final 500 of the "Final 500" emblems as limited edition emblems.

Yes, OEM replacement, they list for $145 a piece and are discontinued and non-existant. I have a couple but can get 2 more from the hail damage we received on the Bravada, IF I can find any but so far, non-exsistant OEM type other than junkyards........

Damn, I'd be afraid to put em on the car-- I'd install the fakes and keep the originals in the house.

It was just a thought instead of the same ol' s***. Don't knock me for thinking up something new. I know these are not OEM. But I do have a link for those as well. They are not non-existant. I have not done the mirros nor the molding yet, as I said, just a thought. Don't want to have the same ol' White Alero with black wheels... kinda been done before

Removing the Words "final 500" Would be a great thought. I just like the design of the "oldsmobile" much better than the new emblems that GM switched to, hense me Avatar pic

Another good upgrade IMO is getting larger "Oldsmobile" badge (the word itself as a badge), from earlier Olds and put that on the back of car, I did that.

If you do other f-500 work it wouldnt be bad, the floor matts, rims... So on. There was a guy trying to sell f500 floor matts in here a while back.
On a similar note, could someone post pics of some of the Stan our features on the f-500 alero's? Rims in particular, I think there may be one in my town... (sorry, not trying to thread jack)

So give me a link then, because from the GM database they are non existant.
