Help needed

Alright. Needing some assistance here. My sister calls me up and tells me she cant turn the key in the ignition of her 2000 intrigue so I figured the ignition cylinder was shot so I picked up a junkyard one and proceeded to put it in. It was getting dark and I decided to wait till the next day to complete. I get there and my brother decided to help remove it by cutting the passlock wires and twisting them back together and tearing apart the ignition housing as well. So now the battery was toast and I put a new one in. now the dummy lights on the dash wont come on when the key is on, also if I leave the key in the on position I hear a clicking under the dash and then a buzzing noise under the hood. Any help not sure where to start.

start by fixing all the crap he effed up. the last thing you want to be doing is cutting passlock wires. you didnt have anyproblems before other then the ignition cylinder. so inspect EVERYTHING he touched and fix it properly and re evaluate.
