HID Low voltage question

The HID setup is a on a 2003 GLS. Drivers side works great, but the passenger side has sever low voltage. I have searched the forum, and haven't found anything specific to the year. So any input would be nice!
Thanks!

it could most likely be the ballast.

how do you have them wired up? i had a bad connection on my old set up that would cause one of them to flicker and possibly go out a lot.

Nope not the ballast, I have the drivers side working, and I tried both ballasts on it. Just too be safe, I replaced all stock parts on the light that wasn't working and it still didn't work. So I'm thinking there is a short somewhere.
I have them wired the same on both sides. So I don't know why that would cause it either.

both my hids are wired up to the battery with a relay using the headlight power and ground as a relay control. yoru stick wiring harness just might not be able to handle the current of the hids.

Alright, so could you tell me how you got that wired straight to the battery? or draw a diagram for it. Anything to help me know what to wire where. It would be much appreciated.

Google "9006 hid wiring harness" ... It's as plug and play as it gets.. Typically, HID ballasts tend to draw more power than the headlight wires can push through.. The harness uses the battery as its power source and the headlight voltage as a switch to switch your HIDs on and off... It uses an automotive relay to control the switching.. A relay uses a smaller voltage as a signal to switch on/off an higher voltage..

I have it for high beams lol, I'm doing all of them, but I wanted to get High beams since I use them the most, 50 mile commute a day on a lonely high way at night. So it would be a 9005 wiring harness.

That's what I was doing with the high beams. My drivers side works, but my passenger side isn't getting enough voltage. So I am going to try to direct current straight from the battery. Just ordered some Low beams too...

(I spend way to much money =( )
