OFFICIAL: What did you do to your Alero today?

got 3 of my 18's the fourth is bent and getting fixed and now just to get all matching tires and the damn tuner lug nuts for them oh well its all good i guess now it begins to look like i want it too, and yes it looks small but that's because the car is still on a jack just for the picture once i get the lug nuts 2 will go on and then the other two need tires then it'll be rollin on 18's

welcome to the 18's club. my 18s are sitting in my closet, my 16s are still on the car (winter wheels) since its been at mms.

I am in that club...you can only hear it with the window and radio turned down at the same time...can't hear the problem i guess it isn't there

Seriously though I do plan to do suspension sometime...I think my struts and springs are still fair, it doesn't show the tire wear that comes from bad struts, my mounts however are a completely different story...if only my plans didn't require getting 18's and putting a 1.5" suspension drop on it at the same time it wouldn't be so expensive...while I want to drop it for stiffer,better handling suspension i have huge problems with scraping as it is because of the geniuses that think a small ditch is required at some intersections to keep water flowing, so I have to counter everything with the wheels

Attachment 11304The tape is still on the car so dont think the yellow is part of it. lol im letting the paint dry longer to make sure it came out good.

Yea i like.. however i wish i had my other wheels on the front instead of my winter rims. >_<

did you spray paint the stripes on?

oh i did.. i did it the right way, sanded, cleaned light coats then medium, then a high gloss clear like 6 coats of that.. I wasnt going to waste money on a set of vinyl stripes, so i took some old masking tape and newspapers and went to work. I used a translucent blue base, then the clear like i said. it came out pretty good. could probably use a polish after its cured to make it look like factory paint though.

Im going to save for ass, however i can not garuntee ill be there. I really want to go. but 8.00 and hour doesn't help.
