it is...sorry i didn't realize the ultra crappy quality for the picture...I am considering a razzi kit to fix my bumpers if I decide that I will stay with the one I have and improve it...I am still considering either getting rid of it and getting a 3400 or keeping it as it is for a distance driver and getting a 3400 as a toy

Just get rid of it....a tuned up/properly maintained 3400/3500 can get 32-34 mpg on the highway. That's if you use cruise control and don't go 80+ most of the time. lol. Still though if you go 80+ then you will prob get about 30mpg?

I am with you to a point however I am rapidly approaching driving 20k a year and with my career choice I will prolly have to travel around a decent amount and to a point I have a slight attachment to the particular one as I first rode in it with 6 miles on it(bought at 11 but there was a test drive first)

Drove it to an Ihop and hung out for a bit with someone.
Enjoying it before it goes up on jackstands. Gonna upgrade the brakes. It's going to be sick!

not with mine but with spencer's (Irish Pope) Alero I replaced the thermostat and am pretty sure gm's engineers were drunk when they were planning the location on the 2.4l...I also taught him to change oil with it and we got the door strips off along with some of the rear badges...I washed my car yesterday including the engine bay and the hood carpet thing looks much better after spraying it out.

once again not completely related to my car but i test drove a silver 03' coupe with the 3400...I liked it but it only did about 100ft better than my ecotec in the 0-governed test although it still had a lot more than my ecotec left to give...I won't say it is the motor in general though because I believe I noticed a UIM leak
