I looked into doing this to my Delta.
Stuff is not really meant to be long term. Chips and tears will cause peeling and it will look like crap again. My Delta was going to cost about $1000 to get all the equipment and dip and do it myself. For another $1450, I had the car blasted, then repainted. I also had the clips removed for all the 1980's chrome trim and I sold the trim for $150 to some dude in CT.
The paint will last probably about 10-15 years or so, dip won't last a year, so when you break it down, and I do this for everything.
Dip $1000= $83.33 a month based on lasting one year
Prep and paint $2450 = $20.41 - $13.61 based on paint lasting 10 to 15 years
Of course I took the car apart myself, removed all trim, bumpers, emblems, ect
