I haven't seen red-on-red, but I have seen black-on-black, and it looks nice.

Geez, all this talk about clear corners is making me think of doing this again. If so I would definately paint the bezel.

might sound retarded but wouldnt painting the bezel destroy some if not all the light output. i say this because the trim is chrome to help disperse the light

I think the only part of the light output that would get affected would be if they paint the whole front crome piece but it would only affect the coner bulb. I don't think it would have anything to do with the head lights as the light is already projected by the differant angles in the bowl.

Correct. The high and low beam chrome are not apart of the bezel. Painting the bezel would only affect the clarity of the turn signal bulbs. I'm gonna paint mine next week, so i'll put up photos of it

I painted my bezel flat black, but I taped off the turn signals somewhat so it's still chrome inside. The black bezel looks a lot better than it did in chrome on my grey alero.
Unbelievably, I still have the pic:

i always see them painted black... to me those look great... but red? it would be any interesting mod... i'm all for being unique.... hell i say go for it... remember red will show up more than the black, so be careful and precise when painting... if you do it show us some pics, k...
