maybe try some of the professional strength goof off. That poop will take off anything, from my excess silicone, to my clear coat on my car...just read the back before you buy it, it's pretty nasty shiz, but I got it in the paint clean up section at Wal-Mart.

pull up the two pins and try wiggling it. I don't know what else to do. Make sure to unplug the harness.

does anyone know if the amber lenses come out of the tail lights too? it looks to me like they are part of the whole thing.

ur headlights look good just replace ur marker bulbs w/amber colored ones and replace ur parking lights (the big amber bulb) w/some silverstar bulbs so it doesn't have the amber color showing. Tail lights you can't do! I know someone makes them cleared out custom on here.

Ok, i already have cleared headlights on my '99 (i did it years ago..) But the outside plastic was starting to look ugly and wasnt as clear and pretty anymore... so i wanted new headlights, of course! (it sits outside in direct sun all the time.. does a number on plastic) Ok ordered brand new headlight assemblies on the cheap-izzle...loving my hookups. So I had to re-clear them, and i decided to actually do it "right" this time, as opposed to just wedging and prying and old headlight. WOW new headlights are a BITCH to get apart!!!! my old ones were easy as pie.. but there is SOOOO much more silicon in these new ones.
Anywho, im painting the bezels black, but the huge amounts of silicon everywhere somehow got a little on the front of the chrome bezel (where i intend to paint) And i cant seem to get it off?? whats a good way to get these little bits off? Freezer? i dunno!!

ok... thanks. this is a PITA.
i was wedging the first one and my tool slipped so my hand flew up and i hit myself in the mouth really hard.. cut my lip pretty bad on my tooth. my sister thought it was effing hilarious! =( But we oven baked them for a few minutes, would pull it out, i would wedge while she blowdried the crevices of them.. agh!! These things beat me up!
