LED 3rd brake light
Been searching all over the internet and ebay for a led 3rd brake light for a 2001 Alero. I've even been looking for some specs to see if the light/socket from the impala would fit in there, b/c I know it has LED lights.
I was originally going to convert mine to an LED but it has 3 sections that are partitioned off and it would be pretty tough to convert it. Any ideas?
I know this is a different vehicle, but this is along the lines of what i'm looking for:

if you want to make your own, yeah, the strip from an impala will work...
if you want to buy one premade, talk to anderbra, he makes them and puts them on ebay from time to time...

The Impala strip swaps right in cleanly. Here's what it looks like:

did you just put that right over the plastic molding that houses the three light bulbs? I like the look of that.

Yeah. You use just the LED strip from the Impala assembly and glue the strip over the top of the plastic housing on the Alero assembly. There's plenty of room between the housing and the lens.
