muffler

i want a flowmaster muffler. i like the 40 series. what inlet outlet sizes do i need? and also what am i going to need to put this in anything special? i see different mufflers with different inlets and outlets like on the side and middle what one do i need? if anyone feels like getting extra helpful maybe they can paste the actual model number from flowmasters site from the 40 muffler thanks. 2004 gl2

offset in center out the stock pipe is 2" so you will need a 2" x 2.25 reducer (or increaser thats the right pipe term Im a steamfitter)
