Coupe vs. Sedan
The timeless preferential debate. Whatchoo think? I'm just curious on the demographics of what people think the Alero looks better as.

I have a coupe, and it was the shit when I bought it, but as I've grown (read: gotten OLDER), I've developed a preference for sedans, the Alero included.

im pretty sure all aleros are actually sedans (read: definition of sedan). obviously this debate is two door or four door preference and mine is two door.

^wow that's dumb. I've always, in every context, known sedan = 4 doors, coupe = 2 doors.

The term "sedan" refers to a fixed-roof car with at least four doors or any fixed-roof two-door car with at least 33 cubic feet of rear interior volume, according to measurements based on SAE standard J1100
|
Do we have 33 cubic feet or rear interior volume?

Ion, I must say that in the back of an alero, theres definitively more legs space than in my 1986 camaro
Its pretty roomy in the back for a 2 door.
And I vote for coupe as my preference (although my door fixture doesnt think the same thing than me, but who cares! )

i'll ignore the lexicon arguments.... and say i'm partial to the 2 door. but i'm young w/o a family. If i had kids, i'd definitely opt for the 4 door.

Coupe...way more sporty and nice lines. Only time I want a four door is when people are climbing in and out the back, but I am always driving so sorry for them.

4 door for me !! lust the fact that you don't expect the car to have the power it dose with four doors and full leather (cough..sleeper) . so my vote is 4 door sedan.
I love almost all gm larger bodied cars.(caddys, impalas, malibus)

i had a sedan, and i liked it when i first bought it. then i made it lay out and i really liked it. then i put the stock suspension and hated it so i sold it. if i was gonna buy one just to drive, i'd buy a coupe.

I have a coupe and my girl has a sedan. I think all together I have driven hers more than mine. But, I still love the 2 door.
The trunk is pretty roomy too! You can fit a lot of... things back there.
