Works fine for me, but it's most likely a Cookie based site, here's another link to a review of them so you can at least see the tires.

I have dunlop graspic for winter tires... work great. I've tried drifting around a snowy/icy corner and it just doesn't work.
...but then again, thats about the best tire (other then blizzaks) you can get in the states w/o studs. They illegalized those, since they don't want us tearing up the roads.

I had Cooper Weathermasters on the Alero... think they're still in my garage dry rotting. They worked great, good treadwear, great traction - and cheap. I have Michelin Pilot Alpin PA2's on the MINI. Blizzaks may be better for deep powder, but the Michelin's are way better for treadwear and actual normal driving. We don't get major snow but a few times a year here and I like my tires to last a few seasons. The "performance winter" tires are perfect - they don't give up much traction in the dry for great snow/ice grip and relatively long wear for a snow.

Yea, I just got back. They were too busy to put them on today, So i'm going to be there again first thing tomorrow morning.
It's a mean looking tire, and after sliding down hills ass backwards last winter, To hell with it, 613 bucks will be well spent.

studded winterforce. you will not be disappointed at all. fisrt big snow we got this past week i was gonna try to go back to my shop b4 the streets were plowed, bad choice on this one corner. stuck it in alll the way, couldn't even begin to open my doors it was so deep. but with those tires on i was still able to rock it out throwin snow way in the air while at it. only bad part is the car can't keep up to the tires, my rear bumper it pulled down on the bottom and isn't near flush on one side.

Nokian Hakkapilitta RSi is what I have for my Alero, the gf has Blizzaks on hers. I can't tell the difference, they are both good. I had some cheaper ones on before the Nokians, and you do get what you pay for. If we get more icy crap up here consistently, I will get some studded ones eventually. I hate the road noise with them though.
One thing my stubborn father won't believe, a crappy winter tire is FAR SUPERIOR to a good all season in snow, mud and ice. Cheap bastard.
