l67 injector swap

NEED SOME HELP

anyone else on here do this b4?

the trouble im having is that i just got l67 (3800) injectors. these new injectors are obviously shorter than my stock injectors.. wot-tech has the brackets for l67 injectors.. but i dont c the point beacuse if i set the fuel rail on with no brackets attached the rail hits the lower intake ports and wont allow the injector to snug in either top or bottom holes (will snug in one but not the other) on the rail theres obvious cut outs to allow the rail to fit over the lower intake with the stock brackets.. but not deep enough now.. so i was thinking of grinding up to the line on the rail.. (obvious line its a ledge) but im not sure if that will give me clearence.. but now im just babbling.. anyone on here know what im talking about, or know how to help

dont know if its hard or if im just to stupid to figure a way around it..

and i couldnt find this with the search got a post from 10/19/08 under n/a upgrades witch didnt show any info pertaning on 1st page besides some l67 injectors for sale

(pics 1) L67 injectors (left) stock (right)
(pic 2) injectors commpared and see slots for lower intake
(pic 3) how i got the injectors from my co worker

eh you are borderline for injector swap with those mods, i forgot what the GP injectors are i think like 32 or 36lb injectors, not sure on the fitment off hand, but i do know that trailblazer injectors are 28lb injectors and swap right in with no fussing.....BTW stock injectors are i think 17lbs, so long since i had stock injectors - ugh.....

22 is the stock injector size.

I was thinking about going to the Evnoy injectors, but my mods don't support that. The car will waste gas. Envoy's are 28's

You don't waste gas by going to larger injectors unless the min pulse duty cycle is still too much fuel. 28# and even 33# is not too large for the stock ECM to be tuned, even on a stock motor.
