I went paint crazy
These past few days I've just been painting non-stop. Next will be finishing all the blue like the pictures below, reupholstering the door fuz, painting the mass of the doors and the glove box area black, speaker grills blue, and front handles blue.
I think I'm also going to put some LED's into the overheard compartment and wire them down the side and solder into the passenger foot light. I already have the soldering, wiring, and LED part down, but if someone can give me a clue as to if I need a resistor or something else to wire from there, or where I'm putting the LEDs, that'd be well appreciated.
Here is what I currently have painted:
Overheads
Attachment 6961
Dome (Broke the clips, I need to put a screw through in the morning)
Attachment 6962
Attachment 6963
Door reflectors (Skull stencil and painted on both door reflectors)
Attachment 6964
Looks like somebody took a dump on my floor...
Attachment 6965
Attachment 6966
Back doors
Attachment 6967
Sub for the time being, since I blew two Jensen 10"s and two 12" Kicker CRVs in the same day, this is an 8ohm Kenwood sub for in a home, but works and kicks NICE with the 760w amp.
Attachment 6968

Lol, it's all dirt, nothing in there too bad, but I haven't got a chance to clean it since doing all the work in a dirt pit.

Thank you, I think this color is really going to work when I dye most of the vinyl black. I'm planning to do a DIY for the big ass dash removal, since I've only found odd links and pictures of other cars in the search. At least that way it won't all go to waste if the dye doesn't work out.

So is it hard to dye carpet dark or am I better off just scrapping what I've got and buying new?

Why are you doing all this interior work when you haven't even vacuumed the car yet? Thats like gold plating a turd before you polish it.

Well, blue is my favorite color, and the car was already blue. Made more sense to me to do interior accents blue as well..
And the car wasn't in need of a vacuum before I started on the interior, as I said, I'm working in a dirt pit there, but I don't have much of an option.

I agree, if you want to give your interior color, replace your map and dome lights with colored LEDs. That's what I'm doing, I already installed my dome light and I have an LED steering wheel cover and the interior is already glowing green. I got my LEDs from superbrightleds.com.
Next to come are the footwells and map and instrument lights (I will be sure to post pictures when my interior is completed).

I value your opinions, but in the end, I personally like it quite a bit over the plain gray look. As long as it looks good to me in the end, I'll be happy, and if not, I'll sand what I can and throw that carbon fiber skin all over it like I keep seeing. That in my opinion, looks horrible.
I'll be replacing interior lights with LEDs soon following the how to, as well as putting some in my vents, if all goes according to plan. Do you have a picture of your LED wheel cover Psyfox? And where exactly does the power come from for that?

I'm confused by some reactions. Is it the painting in general or the dirty as hell floor?
