HIDs for HL and FL...help
Ok so i finally got the right bulbs for the headlights....those im gonna throw in tomorrow after work. the fogs though.....they have a positive and negative wire that looks like they go in the fog light housing with the bulb because their after the rubber grommet that "seals" the lights. Do we have positive and negative wires going to our bulbs? lol im lost....idk what to do cause im gonna be REALLY mad if i get the fogs out, everything plugged in and the fogs dont work. also....the kit says its 55 watts! ummm....what should i do about that? LOL. do i have to wire in a fuse? relay? what will happen if i just connect them without doing anything? cause i know u guys were sayin something about making sure its 35 watts....please help!

LOL. what i meant was where do i connect them? i guess the positive and negative wires connect directly into the harness. I'll see when i get them out, just wanted to be sure these are the rights ones so i dont waste my time. i take apart a lot of cars, never an alero though lol. so idk what the fog bulbs/connectors look like Just curious...

nate you wont burn the stock harness out with a 55w ballast, if you just buy bulbs that are rated for higher then stock you might melt it, but if you have a proper HID kit with ballast you are fine

10000K would be useless for fogs... If you're going for looks, and you like blue then great. If you're looking for functionality, 3000K is the way to go for fogs.

fog lights are suppose to be yellow.
white will be pretty useless for fogs (for use in fog)
anything higher on the scale, 7000k+, will only increase the amount of useless light. Meaning.. you'll just have a pretty color, but it won't benefit you at all.
the k rating directly influences the color and light output.
3000k is yellow
4300-5000k is white
7000-10000k is darkening shades of blue (ending at purple)
10000k+ can be any color you want, but as for actual light output... they'll be worthless.

there is no difference. you get blue color, and useless light output, or white color and useful headlight output. (or yellow, in terms of fogs)

I know, they look a bit unfinished.....but they're spec racing wheels, and cannot accept a centercap.
But they are very light, very strong, and didn't cost an arm and a leg - aesthetics weren't tops on my list.
