Dash Stuff

Is the trim around the glove box seperate or is it part of the whole dash and just made to look seperate? I was going to apholster the whole dash but after trying to get the thing out ive decided to just upholster the doors and matching trim around the glove box. If its seperate how do i get it off? I already took out the glove box.
