i use carwash to get the loose stuff off... then windex to get it clean. After its clean, I use mothers aluminum wheel polish to really get them clean and shiny. To make the cleansing last longer, you can use a coat of car wax on your wheels. It makes less brake dust stick to them.

i think htere is already a post on this but oh well. just clean with water and car soap when washing car or rim cleaner and after just use some polish. No. 7 polish or turtle wax polish for rims. both are like 1.80

never use chrome polish on polish alum wheels.

use mothers to polish them up. to remove dirt use water and soap.

you should never use windex on polish rims they are more sensitive to the ammonia in windex.
