speaker in rear door?
ok so I just had what I think might be a good idea. would it be possible to mount a speaker in the rear door? where the light is in the pic, im thinking a 4" maybe a 5 1/4 will fit... but really, cut a hole, mount it to the door panel (with grill cover) run the wiring and it should be good right?

a 6 1/2 would be best for sound quality but anything is doable as long as your willing to put the time and money into it

easy, they had other models like the intrigue and aurora that had the speakers in the rear doors, hence if people wanted more they would have to upgrade to the other models of their cars.....marketing what can I tell ya

No. The seat fits in under there the panel stick out a whole bunch there. I'm really wanting to do it now, my biggest problem os going to be running wire though... I'm thinking if I do this I'll power theis via the regular speaker output from the head unit (the ones going to the rear) because everything else is amped.

Why not move it forward then glass it in there? Learning to use fiberglass will be one of the most useful things you can learn to do...it will look a lot better and you can fit some bigger speakers too...
