2013 Plans for your Ho
I thought I'd start a thread to see what you guys are planning for your Ho's this year.
Personally, I'm hoping this year will be a big year for my Alero. In April/May I'll be graduating from College, getting my diploma in Computer Engineering Technology and will be job hunting for my future career so I'm hoping I'll have a decent income for mods. This will be the last Winter my Alero has to bare through as I'm going to be buying an economy car and making the Alero my Summer only car. I'm also hoping to make it to ASS for my first and last time which I'm excited about .
Before ASS:
- KYB AGX struts + H&R springs
- Front + Rear Sway bars
- 3500 Lower Intake Manifold + 3500 Cylinder heads
- Magnaflow exhaust
- HP Tuners
- New summer tires
After ASS:
- GXP Rear brake setup
- Stainless Steel brake lines
- 3500 Swap with WOT-Tech Stage 3 Camshaft Package

I would really like to supercharge my '04 and put a custom Borla on it.
"We have the technology" lol
however, the '99 needs an AC compressor, passenger fender, de-rice the exhaust (cosmetically)

Well some plans are already done but ill still put em on the list..
Before ASS:
• KYB GR2 struts, moog mounts, Canuck springs w/ alignment. DONE.
• Buy/re-paint/install Baer front brake kit. DONE.
• Get GAGT mirrors have them painted in "black onyx". DONE.
• Replace idler pulley. (Should get takin care of today)
• Port/Polished upper and lower intake manifolds with metal LIM/UIM gaskets.
• Front/rear strut tower braces. (Maybe)
• Save for turbo build.
• Save for ASS trip.
After ASS:
• Sway bars. (Maybe)
• Find a carbon fiber or painted cowl hood. (In my dreams....)
• 65mm Throttle body. (Maybe before ass, we'll see how it goes)
• Buy Double roller timing chain. (For the build)
• Once again, save for build.
• Profitz.
I haven't really thought on what to do this year. I had to think just typing this out. Don't really want to do much more because I'm going to be saving up for my turbo build, but things will change and I might add a little performance here and there through the year, who knows I might do a cam or something. Just see where it takes me.

don't know how much of it will get done since the list has been in large part the same for a while and I need to get my 65' tbird done but here goes with what I want to do if I keep the one I have (prolly gonna keep it and just get a second alero in a year and a half, 2 years after I start my career)
repaint bezels black and decide what I like best
get euro lights and paint whichever I like most
razzi kit to cover my screwed over bumper covers (may still just replace with stock)
exhaust
wheels and lower
replace damaged interior parts
replace radiator and cooling plate as both are v'ed in from when my uncle hit a jackrabbit (he had to be flying, however he liked his shortcut between ft. carson and home because there was nobody there and he could excessively speed)
find parts cobalt ss or similar and supercharge, 5-speed swap, seat swap

I'm thinking about replacing the tires, since my 1999 still has the original tires on them. That and look for the R134a leak.

Well replace my rear brake pads and rotors, buy 2 front tires to match the back. buy some rims and lower it. Maybe rebuild engine. Replace my leather and re do the carpeting. Oh and an exhaust lol
Some I'm getting done tomorrow is replacing my clogged radiator, all my hoses, radiator cap, ac compressor bearing, thermostat, coolant bleeder valve, and temp sender/sensor. and recharge the ac. Im up for a busy day tomorrow! Yay! lol

Tracks cancelled their test n' tunes this weekend, so waiting till next week. Thinking more seriously of supercharging the '04, only having all the parts ready beforehand. Picked this up recently, too good to pass up. 4 inch wide is probably going to be just a little too big..
