well i have been waiting for 5 years for HOT ROD Poer tour to come into Wi and it is finally here for its first time since it began ten years ago.
imagine meeting up in Texas with about 2000 other cars and hot rodders and everything else , and convoying thru 7 states for almost 7 days with all these cars, and getting the red carpet treatment at each stop for thenight, bands, beer, prizes and meeting new peeps.
the dates are as follows
Kickoff is Sat jun 5th in Ft. Worth Texas
next stop is jun 6th at Tulsa OK
then june 7th at Ozarks MO
then jun 8th at St. Louis MO
then jun 9th at Davenport IA
then jun 10th at Chicago IL
finally jun 11th at Green bay WI
www.HOTROD.com is where you can find more info, routes will soon be posted at their website, bands, and other things...you dont have to join for the whole trip, but there are oppertunities to show there is more to it then just rear drive or imports.
this was just announced, so at the very least i will join in davenport, but i am hoping to have enuff cash for the long haul
just thought id share some of this in case some havent ever heard of this

That's Lake of the Ozarks, MO, which is about 2hrs north of Ozark, MO. Make sure you read your map right; if you get lost between those two it would suck trying to get back on track. You'll be following some small winding highways through there to St. Louis.

dueser...just ty to look past my blond hair for a min ok..lmao
scott...nope..no stipulations at all...in fact there will be so many old school muscle cars, and trucks, and alot of f bodys too...and fox bodied cars, that im sure fwd will be outnumbered, but in years past there have been lots of cavaliers and sunfires i have seen pics of in the magazine
but i do know that there will be some big names on this trip as always...vic edelbrock, mothers car polish always has a car...troy trepanier...etc.

No, June in MO isn't too hot. Just very, very, very humid. You can practically put your hand out and scoop the moisture out of the air. Blech! :P
