i was looking at subs and i don;t know if i should get the audiobahn alum10Q 10" aub or the aw100Q or tell me if these things suck or not and if ya can throw some mono amps taht are good my way so i can check them out thanx.

whats a good amp to go with it or whats an amp that will get the job done. i am only getting one sub so i need a mono amp

yea, alum10 nice solid sub. plays only in a sealed box and sounds ultra clear. power acoustik is indeed a good amp for the money(the mono series only). but you cant go wrong buying a mono audiobahn amp to match the sub either.

ok i found the sub and amp i am going to get. the Audiobahn A4002T amp and the audiobahn alum10Q 10". then i was thinking of making a sealed box made of oat for the sub so it will be nice strong good idea, if not shoot me down and give me a better one

on the box subject i was going to make it square shape so like 14*14 or maybe 13*13 and about 16-20in deep with no ports or would a port be better i an not sure with myself on the box give me some input

you cant have a port box with ALUM subs. I think I said that in my last post.

yes yes you did. but i got another ? i am hooking my subs up to the deck that came with the car, but there is not way to turn the subs off due to the stadard deck so i wanted to insatal a switch and just have the speaker cables going to the sub go to a switch then to the subs so i can turn the subs off. will this work?

no, just put the remote wire going to the amp on a switch. THAT will work. i think that amp also comes with a remote bass control knob thing.

check the specs that came with the subs for your box I have the 12 inch alumQ and i know that the boxes for these type of subs dont need a box that is 2 big....

Also I have them in a ported box and they sound like krap so when you build your box keep it sealed.....

Just dont overpower them to much or they will burn up fast. I had on for about a day. (way to much power on it though.) 2 Bd1500
