i'd worry when its gets over the 3/4th mark..mine ran between those intervals as well...wouldn't be a bad thing to check out the antifreeze while you've got some time and just make sure its good to go

Mine ran this way as well. This is not so much of a problem until you are in traffic.

mine does not go past the half way mark ever.....only because i dont let it, because i got this!

http://www.pfyc.com/pc/GN3003/GAUNDE...an+Switch.html

it may be 90$ but it was worth it mainly because it spins the fans whenever you want and dissapates heat efficiently

From what I've read in another thread, our temp gauges aren't the most accurate. Mine sits right in the middle, but others are above or below that by a little or a lot. Best thing to do is learn where it usually reads and use that as a baseline to determine if you're heating up too much.

I would get a new temp sensor, they are like 10 bucks a checker.

Mine hangs out between 1/4 and 1/2. Right in the middle, but I do have a 180* thermo in there too.

It will creep up just under 1/2 when it's 95+ and really humid and I'm cruising

^^Ditto. Installed the 180 thermo and it actually sits directly below the middle tick mark. If it goes even the slightest bit over (during normal driving; no heavy traffic), I add more freeze
