Anyone have experience of door poppers? I saw it on Pimp my Ride and thought, I NEED THAT!!! here's a website that offers it. Lemme know what u think

The popper is just the spring. The solenoid is whats actually pulls the latch.

Yeah the sell em separate. I haven't seen all but 1 kit that has em together. When I bought my spal shave door handle kit. They didn't come with the popper either. DO they that cuz 9/10 people don't use the spring popper. They just do what i do and grab the top of the door.

By the way, how DO you shave your door handles and make it look like there were no handles to begin with?

Remove handle
weld in plate that matches the size of the opening,
apply bondo to smooth over/fill in any gaps
paint

hey, try checking www.etronics.com check under car electronics and then security. i think i saw some poppers on there for 9.99

personally i was looking into it, just cuz i'm lazy. :thumbsup: i'd only do my door and leave the handle. i figure, if i can unlock it while i walking up, why not open it too? but for 179.99 for the base kit... screeeww that!

ya that`s the basic`s but ya forgot to tell about the setting of the welder and heat is a factor and if ya move to slow there goes ya metal warping and tin caning like no other

The reason I didnt mention it is because I dont know, thats why I had someone else do the work for me
