Subwoofer Alero Abuse
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dg1N9fL_Hq0
Watch in 480p
Camera automatically saves in mp4 format and I don't have the software yet to convert it to edit, so it's one straight cut. Enjoy.

Is there any supporting mods that are under the hood or is that park bench there just for "looks"?
I was looking up video's a while back of a guy that had an old setup and when he was recording his rearview mirror I saw the spoiler in the rear. I was gonna post it up about how horrible it sounded, and the funny spoiler. I guess you got it covered

First of all, it was my FIRST EVER audio setup I had put in a vehicle, consisting of two old school (circa 1994) subs, and a $34.00 amplifier off of ebay. Cut me some slack! I had that amplifier bridged to 2-ohms, with it being 4-ohm stable. Got a 139 on the Term Lab.
As for the wing, the feelings are mutual buddy. Ship me a black lid and i'll paypal you $100.00. I've been checking scrapyards for a year now, and i'm not dropping $150.00 on a bare bone lid. I finally saved up enough money to buy my first car at 17, and I make one bad decision, and I got everyone on my back. But I agree. People just hate until I get them inside.

And brah, give me another 9,000 watts rms, and a van. I'd be balling my eyes out if some kid in an Alero showed me up with substantially inferior equipment. And hey, I STILL have seen better.

Question first, what amplifier, and do you know how to use a subsonic filter? These songs get down. I believe it is track 8 in zip number 13. Good stuff, dude knows what he's doing.

Don't think I haven't debated that. Now picture this, the video you were watching. That is one coil, off of 1400ish. About a week into ownership the stitching one the one coil's leads ripped, and they were rather frayed and have snapped. I did my best in soldering them in my last box and they still snapped. Before I put it into this new box I did my absolute best with only about 3/4" sticking out from the cone to work with... yup, the readout on my amp is 2.3 ohms and they are 2 ohm voice coils wired to 1-ohm. Therefore, a coil is out. But the good news is, I called the owner of DC Audio and he is shipping me a recone FREE of charge because it is covered under their warranty due to the stitching and slapping. Wait til you feel the 3k damage.

Not bad! If I missed it what did it do on the termlab? Looks to be close to a 140-142 DB.

Here's the story.^^^^^ I did a 142.0 @ 40hz on one stinking coil. Pun sadly unintended. Plans: have a d1 recone coming. Going to have it wired down to .5 and can't wait to see how 4k treats it. Of course for burps only. The knob is a nice feature to have.

I have a regrettable Bomz Racing aluminum spoiler. Lol, but still on the hunt for a new lid so I don't have to worry about filling those holes. Some kid with a cavalier is offering me $75 for the wing, so it's his as soon as I get it off. Oh boy I can't wait. lol... But no sound deadener whatsoever. Don't want to invest too much into stuff that will stay with the car because i'm hoping for a new vehicle in a year or two.
