LED How to...?
I can't seem to find a how to for installing LED or cathode lights in my car. Im talking the cup holders trick, on the floor matts, etc.
Only how to's I've seen are for actually installing the lights. I need help on the wiring and where to wire to; like where do i get electricty from, how do I turn it on and off.

Nah man, the car battery is where it's at!
It's pretty easy to either run wiring into your car from the battery, or tap into a fuse on the inside, depending on if you're going to run a few or a lot of lights.

If I do this, I want lights above the floor matts maybe one in the cup holder(s) and one in the doors. I would like a switch to turn them on and off too

you could wire in a switch and mount it somewhere, shouldn't be too hard

usually the point of LEDS is to provide glow, and being that you live in arizona, i'm guessing its pretty bright during the day.
so your car has a DRL switch prebuilt into it. When it gets dark enough, your drls turn off and headlights turn on. Its very easy to tap into, just use the fuse on the top right of the passanger fuse panel. Get a fuse tap, put it in there, then run a line over to your center console. A couple distribution blocks and decent velcro will do wonders. makes a connection thats easy to tap, and easy to change, while still being solid. (connections won't fall off, or short out)
but thanks Haz for finding my FAQ page...
...btw... those blues are only half the work i've done... if you didn't notice my sig.
